The CalcuRate 2010 'Advanced' Calculator - Rate Liability and Savings Calculators

Location – The English workbook allows the selection of England, Greater London, or City of London. There are separate workbooks for Scotland and Wales

Effective Date – The Advanced Calculator allows calculations effective from any date within the 2010 rating list for MCC’s or other changes. It allows multiple changes and changes in liability basis (as a percentage) for vacant periods or to exclude period before or after your client's occupation.

SBRR – Will take account of Small Business Rate Relief

Certified Values - Will take account of certified values at 1/4/2010 and 31/3/2010

Add Deferred – Will add the repayment of the deferral from 2009/10 to the liabilities for 2010/11 and 2011/12. Amount will be calculated from prior list RV, but can be overwritten.

BRS Levying Authority – For Business Rate Supplements such as Crossrail, select the Levying Authority.

Multiple Dates – Liability can be calculated for your client’s period of occupation or for multiple RV changes by entering the dates here.
